Trick My Truck - Make It Cool

There has been a surge of reality television shows on cable lately. These cover a variety of different topics but one of my personal favorites is a show called trick my truck. In the show trick my truck, they choose somebody that has a truck that is in need of some serious repair. Not only do they fix the truck, they make it totally tricked out with everything from custom wheels to custom interiors and typically an awesome stereo system. For anybody that likes cars and trucks and considers himself at least a little bit of a motorhead, this show will provide a lot of entertainment.

Most people will never be able to get their vehicle onto trick my truck. That doesn't mean that they can't do a little bit of customization to their vehicle themselves. It doesn't really take all that much to take an average truck and make it into something that is unique and reflects your personality. People that like trucks tend to think of them as a member of the family at times and you would want to treat this member of your family in the best way possible. So what you could do is to start your own personal episode of trick my truck and do some of the following things to make your truck unique.

One of the first things that any truck owner should do to customize their truck is to add some custom wheels. Not only will this make the truck look better, it also adds something that will blend in with other customizations that you will put on the truck. Most people notice these custom rims before they notice anything else about your truck. You can then move on to the paint job and truck bed. If you can't afford a complete paint job on your truck, perhaps you can add some pinstriping or other customization that will make it look good. Any old, beat-up truck bed can easily be fixed with a truck bed liner. You can either purchase one that fits directly into your truck or have one sprayed on permanently.

The final customizations to your truck should be the interior which could include custom painting the dashboard, reupholstered seats and a new stereo system. Since you will see the inside of your truck more than the outside, make sure that you customize it to your own personal liking. It might take some time but you will have your own personal trick my truck episode, and a new truck that will be uniquely your own.
